Voluntary fluid intake, hydration status, and aerobic performance of adolescent athletes in the heat

Abstract

We determined whether beverage flavoring and composition would stimulate voluntary drink intake, prevent dehydration, and maintain exercise performance in heat-acclimated adolescent males running in the heat.
