Aspirin: Its Effect on Platelet Glycolysis and Release of Adenosine Diphosphate

Incubation of human platelets with aspirin inhibited glycolysis and produced a fall in the concentration of adenosine triphosphate. When platelets were exposed to collagen there was an increase in glycolysis and release of adenosine diphosphate.
