Design of Interpolating Biorthogonal Multiwavelet Systems with Compact Support

In this paper we characterize all totally interpolating biorthogonal finite impulse response (FIR) multifilter banks of multiplicity two, and provide a design framework for corresponding compactly supported multiwavelet systems with high approximation order.
