Dr. Adrian Opala is an assistant clinical professor at McMaster University, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation division, department of Internal Medicine. He is a graduate of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency training program at McMaster University. He is also a graduate of the Neuromuscular Medicine and Electrodiagnostics Fellowship Program at the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University Chicago, IL, USA.
Currently, Dr. Opala practices at Hamilton Health Sciences as well as St Josephs Healthcare Hamilton. His practice is focused on neuromuscular medicine, with integration of general physiatry, as well as, electrodiagnostics.
His interests include, muscular dystrophies and myopathies, polyneuropathies as well as plexopathies. Other academic interests include: innovative approaches to peripheral nerve regeneration as well as novel gene therapies for muscular dystrophy.
