Dr. Hamdi Najjar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and a staff neonatologist at McMaster Children's Hospital (MCH).
His academic interest lies in neonatal hemodynamics and targeted neonatal echocardiography (TNE), with a focus on advancing cardiovascular care for critically ill newborns.
He also serves as the Associate Program Director of the Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship Program, where he plays a key role in curriculum design, mentorship, and clinical training. Additionally, he is the Ombudsman for the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship Program, supporting trainees and promoting a positive learning environment across disciplines.
