Brenda Key
Associate Professor, Psychiatry & Behavioural Neurosciences

Brenda Key is a clinical psychologist at the Mood Disorders Program and the Anxiety Treatment and Research Centre at St. Josephs Healthcare Hamilton. She is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Calgary and completed her pre-doctoral residency training at Calgary Clinical Psychology Residency program. Her clinical work is focused on the assessment and treatment of patients with co-morbid anxiety and mood disorders. Her research is focused on the development and evaluation of interventions that integrate cognitive behavioural therapy and mindfulness based therapies for patients with anxiety and mood disorders. She is also interested in the use of mindfulness based interventions to help increase resiliency in health care professionals.
