Amaris Karin Balitsky
Assistant Professor, Oncology

Dr. Amaris Balitsky is a malignant hematologist at Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre, specializing in lymphoid malignancies and cellular therapy.

Dr. Amaris Balitsky obtained her MD degree from and completed Internal Medicine residency at the University of Toronto. She completed Hematology residency at McMaster University. She went on to complete a 2-year combined clinical and research fellowship, where she developed clinical expertise in lymphoma and cellular therapy at McMaster University and the Juravinski Cancer Centre. She concurrently obtained a Master’s degree in Health Research Methods (HRM) in the Department of Health Research Methods Evidence & Evaluation at McMaster University. She also completed requirements for the Clinician Investigator Program (CIP), a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certificate program.
