E. Aguiyi, MD, AFMCOG, MSc, MRCGP, CCFP, FRSM, FRCGP
Dr. Aguiyi is an Assistant Clinical Professor (adjunct) in the Department of Family Medicine at McMaster University. With over 15 years of experience in the UK’s National Health Service (NHS), he brings a rich background in clinical practice, postgraduate education, and primary care leadership to his academic role in Canada.
His work is grounded in values of humility, purpose, and lifelong learning. He is particularly passionate about supporting international medical graduates (IMGs), guiding them through professional transitions and fostering their growth as confident, reflective practitioners. Dr. Aguiyi is also actively engaged in mentorship, focusing on resilience, professional identity formation, and compassionate leadership in medicine.
