Dr. Christopher Coroneos is a Plastic Surgeon at Hamilton Health Sciences. He specializes in microsurgery, performing the full spectrum of cancer reconstruction at Juravinski Cancer Centre, and trauma reconstruction at Hamilton General Hospital. Dr. Coroneos completed residency at McMaster, and a microsurgery fellowship at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. During his residency he completed a Master's in Health Research Methodology, and leads the McMaster Reconstructive Outcomes (MacRO) program of research.

Dr. Coroneos has performed multiple vascularized composite bone and tissue reconstructions for defects of the face, spine, pelvis and limbs; the first of their kind in Hamilton. He is an expert in breast reconstruction and the regional expert on Breast Implant Associated Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma, and Breast Implant Illness at Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre. Dr. Coroneos is an internationally recognized researcher on breast implant safety, with the largest investigation of breast implants to date.
